Grassland asked:

It’s really strange, because I don’t really have any problem learning and recalling vocabulary, but I’m really struggling to remember words like those stated in the title. The words are so close together, and I’m struggling to use them in sentences, I just can’t remember which one is which and where to use them. It is made worse by the fact that there is a different word implying distance, such as “Aquellas” and “Aquellos” for “Those over there”, and “Aquel” and “Aquella” for “That over there”.

I can recall them if I really think hard to remember which one is this, but I have no chance of using them quick enough to have a flowing conversation as I’m just finding it extremely hard to remember and distinguish between them.

Does anyone have any advice? Has anyone had this problem?

Thanks

Claire
